Huhtamaki respects gender equality in the workplace and recognizes the importance of diversity.
On July 3, 2023, the Federal Government enacted Law No. 14,611, which addresses equal pay and compensation criteria between women and men. The Transparency Reports prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) followed the guidelines available on the government website: http://pdet.mte.gov.br/transparencia-salarial, and were prepared for establishments with 100 or more employees. Accordingly, the two Huhtamaki Group units in Brazil are subject to the publication of the reports disclosed by the MTE: Huhtamaki do Brasil (Palmeira – PR) and Huhtamaki Embalagens Flexíveis do Brasil (Parnamirim – RN).
